The second release of tape tales records stands for a stark and plain listening, opposed to the vibrant and emotional side of tale01 by Italian artist 2030 with ‘the ambient explorations’.

The next chapter, titled “mundus subterraneus”, features 14 ‘lost tracks’ produced by Federico Leocata, audio and visual artist yet known for his unique scientific and electro aesthetic – discovered by Heinrich Mueller (Dopplereffekt, Drexciya) - who released its first EP in 2010 for the belgian Wémè Records, and later on, attracting the interest of labels like Frustrated Funk and Last Known Trajectory.

Every cut, loop and experiment included in the cassette has been originally produced by Federico while defining his identity between 2004 and 2011: all tracks got lost in a computer and recovered few time ago. An album which gathers the first experiments of the Italian producer – something unripe and evolving overall – but at the same time incorporating clearly recognizable characteristics from his signature sound, such as acid brainwaves, 808 breaks, robotized vocals and a whole dark attitude in composing.

Unavoidable elements for a full Dopplereffekt/Drexcyian inspired journey, as raw as it gets.
